The Institute of Philosophy of the Research Centre of the Humanities of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, together with Károli Gáspár University, is organising a conference entitled Arts and the City. The conference will be held in Budapest, on 23-24 May, 2019.

On account of another assignment, Ferenc Hörcher resigned from the position of the director of the Institute of Philosophy of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He held the position for six years between 1 January 2013 and 31 December 2018. He will remain at the institute as senior researcher on a part time basis.
